Rapid Deployment: Pre-built accelerators and frameworks for fast go-lives.
Our rapid implementation methodology is a structured, phased approach meticulously designed to ensure a swift and smooth transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. While timelines can vary slightly based on specific client needs and scope, our proven QuickStart framework typically achieves go-live in just 6-8 weeks, with some highly focused deployments completing in as little as 30 days. This predictable roadmap ensures clarity and efficiency at every step.
The phased approach inherently mitigates risk and builds progressive confidence. By breaking the project into manageable, sequential phases with clear deliverables, it significantly reduces the “big-bang” risk often associated with traditional, monolithic ERP deployments. This iterative structure allows for continuous feedback, early identification and resolution of potential issues, and progressively builds user confidence and familiarity with the system. This demonstrates that “rapid” does not equate to “reckless”; rather, it signifies a structured and efficient process designed for systematic risk mitigation and predictable outcomes.
Phase 1 : Inspire/ Analysis
This foundational phase begins with a collaborative Project Kick-off to align on objectives, expectations, and initial scope. Essential Data Collection Templates are provided, and Solution Decks are presented to streamline initial information gathering and visualize the future state. Through focused discussions and a product overview, essential Discovery and Data Collection are conducted, ensuring a clear understanding of core business needs and identifying key stakeholders.
Phase 2 : Design
Building on the observations from discovery, this phase focuses on detailed planning and initial configuration. A comprehensive overview of Business Central’s capabilities is provided, followed by specific discussions on relevant modules within the defined scope. A detailed Configuration Worksheet is developed, and guidance is provided for the meticulous collection of Master Data and Opening Balances. Initial Navigation & Basic Training is provided, followed by core system Configuration and Testing of essential setups like Chart of Accounts, Customer/Vendor/Item master data, and payment terms.
Phase 3 : Training and Testing
This critical phase brings the configured system to life in a dedicated sandbox environment for rigorous Functional Testing. Assistance is provided with Master Data Import after thorough cleansing and preparation, ensuring data integrity. Crucially, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is conducted, allowing the client’s team to validate the system against real-world scenarios and provide feedback. Targeted Training on Core Functionality is provided to key users, and comprehensive Go-Live Preparation begins.
Phase 4 : Go Live
The culmination of the project, this phase focuses on empowering the client’s internal team for long-term success through a Train-the-Trainer model, ensuring Super Users are fully equipped to support their departments. This leads directly to Go-Live, where the business officially transitions to Business Central, leveraging its full capabilities.
Phase 5 : Support
Commitment extends beyond go-live. Dedicated hands-on and operational support (typically 1 week, with ongoing support options available) is provided to address any immediate concerns, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a smooth post-transition period, minimizing disruption and maximizing user confidence.
Data quality is a critical path item and a shared responsibility for rapid success. The consistent emphasis across various phases on data-related activities, such as data collection templates, master data and opening balances collection, data migration and verification, and auditing existing data, highlights that while the software implementation is rapid, the data preparation is a non-negotiable, foundational prerequisite. Poor data quality inevitably derails even the fastest implementation. This means clients need to be fully prepared for a significant, collaborative effort in data cleansing and preparation, emphasizing this as a shared responsibility and a critical success factor for the project’s overall success.
